Eight students in the junior class were accepted into the National Honor Society. These students had to submit an application, essay, and 3 teacher recommendations to show their scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Senior Parents: You are invited to attend your child's Capstone Presentation on Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at 5:30pm at Pathways. Students have been working all year on their Capstone project. Much work and effort has gone into these projects and your presence and support is appreciated. We look forward to seeing you at the presentation night on the 30th.
Congratulations to Caitlin Topping for receiving the Connecticut Broadcasters Association Scholarship. This is a wonderful scholarship that provides a renewable monetary award for college for a student who has strong academics and an interest in majoring in broadcasting, journalism, communication, or engineering. Juniors who took the SAT on March 27th will be able to view their SAT scores on the College Board website beginning on April 19th, 2019. Please read the full article for instructions on how to access your score reports.
Congratulations to the 135 Pathways students who qualified for Honors or High Honors in the 3rd Marking Period. High Honors is a 4.0 GPA or above, and Honors is 3.0-3.999. We will have an Honor Roll Celebration on Thursday, April 18th at 1:30pm in the Pathways Cafeteria. Join us to recognize your child's scholastic accomplishment.
Pathways Academy of Technology & Design is among 88 career academies recently awarded NAF's distinguished level recognition. This is the seventh year in a row that Pathways Academy has been named a distinguished academy. This designation is given to a select few who have reached Model level on NAF's annual assessment, exhibiting strong fidelity to an educational design that prepares students for success in college and careers.
