"Summer Skills to Succeed Internship Program", is a paid internship. The interns will work remotely, and the scheduled start date would be June 7th until August. Interns will be on-boarded by Accenture

Travelers EDGE students benefit from a broad range of support services, including financial support, career and business advice from our employees, internships and job shadowing, and professional development workshops.

Travelers EDGE (Empowering Dreams for Graduation and Employment) provides a unique, holistic approach to education for underrepresented students. Through partnerships with colleges, universities and community-based organizations, Travelers EDGE increases access to higher education and provides students with opportunities to excel. The program helps students progress from middle to high school curriculum in preparation for post-secondary education, building a strong pipeline of future leaders to college and beyond. Once enrolled in college, Travelers EDGE students benefit from a broad range of support services, including financial support, career and business advice from our employees, internships and job shadowing, and professional development workshops.

The application is due February 12th.

Dear Hartford Public School Families,

We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for students to receive extended support at home through tutoring provided by certified HPS teachers. Our Hartford Public Schools Tutoring Program will offer tutoring and homework help to all interested students and families.

Families and students will be able to sign up for 1-1 or small group virtual tutoring sessions with certified teachers from their own school. The program's goal is to increase academic achievement during these challenging times and support families at home learning. Furthermore, tutors in specialized areas such as English Language Acquisition and Special Education will be available for those students that require such support.

The HPS Tutoring Program will be held after school both during the week and on Saturdays.

Information about scheduling your virtual tutoring session will be available at the following site soon:

Since we can't have visitors in the building due to Covid 19 guidelines, you may ring the bell and someone will bring the yearbook out to you. If you haven't purchased the yearbook you can still buy them, the cost is $30.00 cash which can be paid when you pick it up.
