Eight students in the junior class were accepted into the National Honor Society. These students had to submit an application, essay, and 3 teacher recommendations to show their scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Congratulations to Caitlin Topping for receiving the Connecticut Broadcasters Association Scholarship. This is a wonderful scholarship that provides a renewable monetary award for college for a student who has strong academics and an interest in majoring in broadcasting, journalism, communication, or engineering. Congratulations to the 135 Pathways students who qualified for Honors or High Honors in the 3rd Marking Period. High Honors is a 4.0 GPA or above, and Honors is 3.0-3.999. Pathways Academy of Technology & Design is among 88 career academies recently awarded NAF's distinguished level recognition. This is the seventh year in a row that Pathways Academy has been named a distinguished academy. This designation is given to a select few who have reached Model level on NAF's annual assessment, exhibiting strong fidelity to an educational design that prepares students for success in college and careers.
