Congratulations to two of our seniors, Angelica Ortiz and Aracelis Figuoera, and one of our sophomores, Makiydah Berry, who are among only 400 high school women throughout the country recognized for their technological achievements by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT). This week in advisory, students in grades 9-11 selected their course preferences for the 2018-2019 school year. This is an important part of our scheduling process, so students should choose their selections wisely. Students will then meet with their school counselors to finalize decisions. Companies such as Aetna, Travelers, Cigna, The Hartford, and American Eagle Financial Credit Union are a part of our Early Bird process and reviewed applications and interviewed over 30 students. Save the Date for our Spring College Night on Wednesday, April 17th at 5:30pm. This event is going to be open to all 9th-11th grade students and families. We will be having representatives from colleges and financial aid offices come to present relevant information for preparing for college success.
