Welcome to Ms. Jennifer Zaffetti, English Teacher at Pathways! This is her first year at Pathways, and she is excited to be teaching 9th and 10th grade English! She recently graduated from the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. She have a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a graduate certificate in Gifted Education and Talent Development. In her free time, she loves to read and take her dog, Decker, to the dog park. She says, "I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of the Pathways family. I am looking forward to a great year!"
Senior Family College Planning & Financial Aid Night will be held on Tuesday, September 18th for our senior families. Dinner will be served at 5:30pm and the presentation will begin at 6:00pm. Open to all students grades 9-12, The Teen Advisory Council at the Connecticut Science Center allows the opportunity for your voice to be included in the Science Center's programming! As a member of the Teen Advisory Council, you will work with science center staff to create and shape new programs and events that target teens and help to advise the Teen Program social media accounts. The Award for Aspirations in Computing honors young women at the high-school level for their computing-related achievements and interests.. Any US high school woman in grades 9 through 12 is eligible to apply. Award recipients are selected based on their aptitude and interest in technology and computing, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education. Applications can be submitted anytime between now and early November. To apply, students must go to https://www.aspirations.org/participate/high-school.
It's that time again! The PTO is hosting our HUGE fall fundraiser! YANKEE CANDLE! Packets will be sent home with students on Tuesday, 9/18/2018, and orders will be accepted until 10/9/2018.
