BOP Team 181 - Winners of the Waterbury District Event

BOP Team 181 was 1 of 42 teams competing in the Waterbury District Competition this weekend. This year's game and field elements were quite complex, resulting in longer days and schedule changes. Our students were great sports, putting up with all the inconsistencies while staying positive.

They were selected by the 3rd-seeded alliance. During eliminations, they were completely undefeated and ended up winning the Waterbury District competition as part of an alliance with two other teams.

Our Pathways stars: Jennifer Colon was the pilot and Aaron Marques was our human player. Adrian Beldzinski also subbed in for those roles for two matches. Alexander Grant was our pit crew leader, and Matthew Shelto was our wonderful programmer. Shayla Harrison, Emily Claudio, and Sean Clarke were excellent in helping us consolidate scouting data from all teams. Without these students, we would not have been able to accomplish such a feat this weekend.

Congratulations to Team 181!
