Vision

It is the vision of the Pathways to Technology Magnet High School that all of its graduates develop the skills needed to become fully active participants in our global, technology-driven society and that each student develops a sense of personal and social responsibility that will enable him/her to successfully participate in a growing, fast paced, and rapidly changing world economy. Students graduating from the Pathways to Technology Magnet High School are comfortable with, and proficient in, selecting and using appropriate technologies as information resources and possess the skills to interact with individuals or organizations and agencies through computer telecommunications.

Our Mission

Pathways to Technology Magnet High School seeks to accomplish its vision through:

Utilizing technology for teaching and learning in content areas to build and awareness and understanding of varied teaching methodologies, and to publish best practices and student and staff accomplishments. Teachers and students will acquire technology skills that meet National Certification Standards. Employing innovative and collaborative learning through the use of cutting-edge technology. Providing rigorous academic curricula focusing on high achievement.
Fostering a belief that all students can achieve.
Establishing a team of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals willing to grow with the changing technological world.
Developing partnerships with the business community that allows students to explore work-based experiences such as mentoring, internships, and career exploration.
Reducing racial, ethnic, and economic isolation of students in urban and rural schools.
