The application period for all students will begin November, 2008. The application deadlines are listed below. Parents are responsible for making sure applications arrive at the Regional School Choice Office at 43 Vernon St, Hartford, CT 06106, no later than the deadline date to be included in the lottery. Applications can be submitted online, delivered in person, faxed, or mailed with a postmark by the deadline date. Applications are also available online at www.magneteducation.org. Only one application per student will be entered in the 2009 lottery.
Students not selected in the 2009 lottery will be placed on a waiting list. Students will be selected from the waiting lists as seats become available for either Hartford or suburban vacancies. Any application received after February 16, 2009 is a late application and will be placed on wait list status.

Yes. There is a priority level. Availability of seats applies to all applications.
SIBLING PRIORITY applies to both Hartford & Greater Hartford residents, who have a sibling attending the selected school at the start of the new school year. Sibling priority will only apply to a younger brother or sister living in the same household, who share at least one same parent or guardian.
ATTTENDANCE AT OPEN HOUSES. We encourage all families to visit Pathways and determine if our learning community fits the needs of your child. Open house attendance also increases priority level in the lottery.
